Martin is the founder and proud owner of MP Personal Training. He has been in the fitness industry for thirteen years now and still enjoys it as much today as he did on day one. During this time he has matured and with it enhanced his training knowledge and the ability to motivate clients, allowing them to push harder than they thought possible through the use of his NLP skills, life experience and trial and error.

Over the years he has had the pleasure of working with some great people and been involved in some exciting projects.

Some of the highlights include being asked to attend the FIA HQ in London to be part of an FIA brainstorm committee, formed to discuss the future training and marketing for the older generation. He has also taught a display session at the Birmingham NEC during Leisure Industry Week.

More recently he was asked to sponsor the largest indoor cycling event in the UK, which raised over £9000 for Cancer Research UK.

One of his biggest passions within the industry is the development and training of the older generation. The way Martin looks at the ‘older generation’ is that we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them, so why not help them to enjoy their lives and families for as long as possible? For this reason he runs an over 50s health, fitness and social group called Forever Fit, which allows him to help them to do just that.

Other than writing editorials for Brighton Active, a local health and fitness magazine and practicing what he preaches in the gym, he enjoys spending time with his son, who is now at college continuing his studies in sport and his general family time. Then, when time allows, he likes to escape into a world of his own on his bike.
